To support the next phase of our growth at The Now Work, we are looking for an inspiring and commercially driven leader to strengthen our successful agile agency offering, taking it to the next level of impact.
The Role
As our Head of Client Services, you will play a key role in managing our most important client projects, growing our client base, and ensuring the quality and impact of our work. You’ll act as the bridge between clients and our network of independent sustainability experts, ensuring projects run seamlessly while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role, perfect for someone who is entrepreneurial, resourceful, and thrives on taking ownership. You’ll work closely with the founders, leading client engagements, sales, and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management (50%)
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, being a source of inspiration, securing their trust and guiding them to the most impactful outcomes.
- Own end-to-end project management for client engagements, ensuring smooth execution.
- Identify the right talent from our network to answer client briefs, build project teams and manage those teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery that’s on budget.
- Build long-term relationships with our clients built on mutual trust and a shared ambition to accelerate impact, identifying ways to grow each account, ensuring retention and reconversion.
Business Development (50%)
- Define our approach to new business development - what type of new business strategy is on brand and values-aligned for The Now Work? How could we do new business development in our unique way?
- Represent TNW externally and build strong relationships with decision makers in sustainability.
- Build our new business pipeline by identifying new leads, designing outreach and engagement strategies and implementing them.
- Lead on the development of new business proposals.
- Lead discovery calls to understand client needs and help them identify solutions, positioning TNW services and offers as a no-brainer.
- Manage inbound client leads and convert them into projects for our brilliant network of experts.
- Build long-term relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals.

Your Experience
- 7+ years experience in client management, business development, or project management.
- Track record of winning new business and growing client accounts.
- Strong experience managing sustainability projects end-to-end.
- Comfortable with client outreach, proposal development, and pitching.
- Deep knowledge of sustainability in the context of business.
