The Now Work is a mission-driven sustainability startup that operates as both a talent network and consultancy. We’re here to make action on sustainability inevitable. Our clients are global brands, international NGOs and large corporates. We bring the people and ideas to solve sustainability challenges.

We are looking for an Account Executive who wants to use their skills to make real action on sustainability happen. This role is a hybrid client-facing and internal operations role. You’ll be helping to ensure that our projects run smoothly from kickoff to completion, supporting our network of sustainability experts to deliver exceptional work on time and on budget and supporting across a range of internal priorities.

You’ll excel in this role if you’re proactive, people-oriented, highly organised and happy to work in fast-moving and evolving contexts.

• Location: Central London (Hybrid 2-3 days per week)
• Contract: Permanent role
• Salary: £30-37k, dependent on experience

Your role

Project management

• Help manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects to a defined timeline within agreed budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions, ensuring these are followed through.
• Support with identifying talent from within our network for client briefs. 
• Help coordinate internal teams, freelancers and clients to deliver the best outcomes for everyone. 
• Lead project meetings, status updates, and reviews.
• Track project performance, identify issues early, and support implementing solutions.
• Help us maintain and positively build trusted client relationships.

Strategic and operational support

• Outside of project work, support our core team to deliver marketing communications, email campaigns and our own thought leadership. 
• Support in maintaining and improving the operational infrastructure of The Now Work. 
• Contribute to team culture by being collaborative, communicative, and solution-oriented.
